The Gospel in Four Parts

The Gospel of Jesus Christ--God's story, as recorded in Scripture--can be put into four parst: creation, fall, redemption and restoration. This fall we're taking a look at each of the four parts of the storyline of Scripture, to find out what they mean and how it can help us understand and share the Good News.

Part Four: Restoration | Revelation 21:1-8

The hero has entered the story, but it's not over yet. God promises that one day everything will finally and totally be made "new".

Part Three: Redemption | Romans 3:21-26
September 25, 2016 | Pastor Mike

Every story you've ever heard has a hero. The story of the Bible--which is the story of humanity--has a hero too. It's Jesus, God's Son, who was sent into the world to save us.

Part Two: Fall | Genesis 3
September 18, 2016 | Pastor Mike

The good news actually starts with some bad news: the world has gone wrong, and we've been enslaved by sin. We are desparately in need of a hero.

Part One: Creation | Genesis 1
September 11, 2016 | Pastor Mike

God created everything. Then he called it "good," which means it turned out exactly the way he intended it. Understanding the beginning of the story helps us understand where we came from--and what we're missing.
